A Key Producktion is a red dun broodmare, she is a Granddaughter of Snipper Reed. She has had many nice colts. A Key Production is a daughter of The Producktion. We call her Duck, because whoever named her, spelled Producktion with a "K" She is a granddaughter of Snipper Reed an AQHA Champion with points in 7 events. The Snipper Reed, Music Mount cross was a well known good cross, and I went to a lot of auctions until we finally got a Snipper Reed mare bought, to cross on Snipper Music. And it was a good cross. As you can see in the pedigree there are many other AQHA CHAmpions and Race & Show ROM winners. Also Leading Dam of AQHA Champions, Shady Dell is there.

Celebrity Princess is a red dun mare. She's a beautiful combination of her sire; Snipper Music and her dam Sierra CelebrityGold. Celebrity Concerto is her full brother, you can see him in the Stallion section. Princess's granddad, Sierra G Son was a beautiful, big 15-3, palomino stallion with a great personality. Rockey used to call him "Funny Sonny" as he was always playing pranks on Rockey. "Sonny" was a powerhouse. His colts grew up big, fast, and they were favorites at the Pat Ranch Sale, before we were lucky enough to buy Sierra G Son, and be accepted into the Pat Ranch Sale. Rockey really enjoyed starting the colts sired by Sierra G Son, they were smart and willing, and big boned. They made fantastic ranch horses, and some people that frequented the sale, bought a Sonny colt every year. We saved a lot of Sonny's daughters and crossed them on Snipper Music. We thought it was a fantastic cross, Snipper Music refined them and added his own cowy, athleticism, super intelligence and people loving personality. They were hard to part with, we liked them so well. They are so versatile, people use them for everything. And last, but certainly not least, Skipette Holly was the Dam of Sierra Celebrity Gold. Skipette Holly, with her Hollywood bloodline is the Foundation mare of our herd. We treasure her, and any of the foals that have her blood in them. She was born in 1977. HQH Cream Puff has the most gorgeous head, really really pretty. She also has a unique color. She is a Palomino Roan! Her sire is Smoky Music Too,(blue roan) by Snipper Music(grullo roan and out of Bright Allover a black double bred Rebel Cause mare. Sierra G Son is the sire of Cream Puff's Dam; PJ Honey Buck. That's where the palomino came from. We bred Cream Puff to Nu Hollywood King, our grullo Foundation stallion with the (EE)black gene. As he won't throw a sorrel, red roan, palomino, chestnut, my big hope is that we are going to get blue roans out of this cross. It has to be a color with a black gene. So Grullo, Dun, black, brown and bay are all possible. Add to that the roan gene that the mare carries, and any of those black gened colors could also be roan. It will be exciting to see what we get. Whatever we get it, it should be cowy, athletic and gorgeous!

We purchased HQH Melody and her full sister, HQH Cream Puff from Nick and Jackie Hillman, at the Production Sale. They are gorgeous mare's. Sierra G Son daughters have always crossed very well with Snipper Music and Smoky Music Too. This has been the magic cross.

DECEASED. One of the worst heart aches in the horse business, is when they die before their time. There is never a good day to die, but 2 months before foaling, a foal I was looking forward too.......Out of a mare that is not replaceable. Jay More Music is a double bred Snipper Music. She is a grullo roan. And what a sweetheart she is. She had a beautiful blue roan stud colt for us last year. Hopefully we'll get another one that is just as pretty. Her sire is Snipper Music. He was our favorite horse of all time. He won Snaffle Bit Futurites, he always won the reining, and cutting, team penning, and as a ranch horse he did everything from bringing in the wayward bull, to holding a cow while we pulled a calf. Jay More Music's Dam was Sooty Freckles. Sooty is a gorgeous black mare with a beautiful head, and swan neck. She looked so much like Snipper Music, it was amazing. Sooty's dam was Jay More Freckles who was imported here from Australia for her cutting horse pedigree. Her sire Freckles Jay Jay was a son of Jewel's Leo Bars (25 cutting points, 3 halter pts and a ROM in cutting) by Sugar Bars (AAA). Freckles Jay Jay's dam Rey's Jay Pride was sired by AQHA Champion, Rey Jay with 257 AQHA Pts in Cutting. Rey Jay was a AQHA Superior cutting performance horse, and 1966 NCHA Finals Non-Pro winner. Roar More was a AAA Stakes Winner with a racing register of merit.

We bought Kings Spook A Boo from Arty & Caroline Cordova in Challis, IDaho. As a foal they showed her at the Blackfoot State Fair and she won 3rd in her halter class. She is a big mare, with good bone. I just fell in love with her grandsire, Cowboy Spook, a 16 hand buckskin / Tobiano APHA Paint Stallion. He is gorgeous. Bloodlines include: Scootin'Spook, Tinky's Spook, Tinky Poo, Hancock, Snipper Reed, Oklahoma Star and Man O War. Cowboy Spook made a beautiful show horse, all collected, with his neck arched in Western Tack, and was he ever cool, in Costume classes; with Indian War Paint and Authentic Indian attire. Doc O'Lena is a NCHA Futurity Champion sired by Doc Bar out of the great Poco Lena, an AQHA Champion that placed at the NCHA World Champion Cutting Finalists Ten times, and was an AQHA High Point Cutting horse in 1959 and 1960. She was a Superior AQHA cutting horse. She was an NCHA Hall of Fame Award winner, and she won an NCHA Silver Award. I think she was one of the greatest cutting mares of all time. Nu Song Seeker was sired by NU Goldseeker. He was born and raised at our house and he was a beautiful buckskin stallion. He was a grandson of Goldseeker Bars, one of only 47 horses that have achieved the prestegous award of Supreme Champion, AAA runner, AQHA Champion. Goldseeker Bars was the only Supreme Champion that ever sired a Supreme Champion. NU Goldseeker's dam, was NU Sunrise an own daughter of NU Bar. I went to the Bobby Joe and Billie Jean Cudd Dispersal Sale in Woodward, Oklahoma, November of 1987 and was lucky enough to purchase Nu Sunrise. She was bred to Leo Goldseeker, and we were the proud parents of a buckskin stud colt in the spring of 1988! NU Bar won 33 cutting points in AQHA, an ROM in Performance, and was also the Reserve Champion at the AQHA World Cutting Championship. NU Bar was a Top Ten Finisher at the NCHA World Champion Cutting in 1976 and in the 1974 Derby Cutting, placing 6th in both. We bought Wayward Windsong at the Hermiston, Oregon Horse Sale. She was a daughter of Whiskey Music, the sire of Snipper Music. So out of 750 horses in the sale, we come home with a half sister to Snipper Music! We know what we like! We bred her to NU Goldseeker when he got old enough, and NU Song Seeker, a gorgeous buckskin filly was the result. NU Song Seeker looks the most like NU Goldseeker. She has halter, performance classes, cutting, and running horses, in her pedigree. NU Song Seeker has produced lots of quality foals.

Rockey said if you hooked Snipper on a cow, you had better hang on, because Snipper was going to get the cow! Snips Silver Legacy's Dam was a gorgeous black mare, Cinder Gold Bar, a granddaughter of Mr Bar None and Mr Gold 95. Mr Bar None was a World Champion running Horse, a Superior Race Horse; and Mr Gold 95 was a Superior Performance Horse, winning 166 AQHA pts in cutting and 2 pts in reining. Sierras Yellow Rose foaled a bay stud on April 7 2007 and he's going to be a great colt. My husband and I have been raising and critiquing our herd of broodmares for 30 years. We are sure proud of them. Sequins Blue Ribbon has a combination of Snipper Music (our favorite horse of all time) and Sierra G Son. He was not only beautiful, powerful and athletic, but he put size, muscle, and good bone and big feet on his offspring. We crossed Sierra G Son daughters with Snipper Music, who could rein, cut, team pen, and be a ranch horse with the best of them. Added to this mix was: Music Mount a Hall of Fame, ROM Cutting horse; and AQHA Champions Snipper Reed and Sierra Mount. Skipette Holly (the Dam of Sierra Gold Sequin) was the foundation mare of our broodmare band. "Holly" is a granddaughter of Hollywood Gold. She is still with us at 33 years old. We cherish this mare. She had 22 foals for us and is the best producing mare we ever had. Silverado Jaz Music is a sweetheart of a mare. She's gentle and nice to ride. We hope that Silverado Jaz Music will be as good a broodmare as Skipette Holly.

So I think she gave us 22 foals. I never bred her back. Enough is enough. She deserves her retirement. Skipette Holly is the reason we love the Hollywood Gold bloodlines so much. Her colts have been outstanding. We kept 4 of her daughters, (we should have kept them all, had we known what we had), three of her sons were kept stallions and sold for stallion prospects.

Professor's Alibi had an ROM in cutting and there were some Poco bred horses on the bottom of her dam's side. So she had the great Doc Bar and Poco Bueno cross pedigree that produced so many great cutting horses in the past. I always liked the foals from Alibis Quixote and I was so happy to be able to keep Snips Josie Cuervo. She is sweet and beautiful. Snips Josie Cuervo is in foal to Nu Hollywood King, Due for 2010.

Snowy River Flicka, a gray mare, that started out Dun, before she went gray. Snowy River Flicka has always given us a great foal. A couple of her stud colts have been kept for stallion. Her sire, Sun DunIt has the great Snipper Reed and Music Mount cross that have always been good horses for us. Sun Dunit's sire, Quincy Sun Dun is an AQHA Champion. These "Quincy" horses are pretty. They win the halter classes, Western Pleasure and turn right around and get points in the roping events also. They make great ranch horses, also. Sir Quincy Dan (22 halter pts) and Quincy Dan (Superior Halter) are behind Quincy Sun Dun. "Flicka's" Dam, Sad Dancer is a granddaughter of Jay Hawker Bar, AAA, a Stakes Winner with an ROM Race. He is a son of the great Three Bars TB A Leading Sire of Supreme Champions, AQHA Champions; ROM Race offspring.

Snipper Music was a Snaffle Bit Futurity winner, He excelled in reining and cutting, team penning and sorting, and he was a super ranch horse and stallion. He was a grandson of Music Mount who was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Music Mount had an ROM in Cutting. Snipper Music's Dam, Snipper Tody is a granddaughter of Snipper Reed an AQHA Champion with points in 7 events. Sooty's dam, Jay More Freckles was imported from Australia, by Alex and Claudia Olgilvia for her cutting horse pedigree. Jay More Freckles was a granddaughter of the great Jewel's Leo Bars. He had 25 cutting points and was a son of Sugar Bars -AAA by Three Bars TB. Jay More Freckle's Dam, Freckles Jay Jay was the result of breeding Jewel's Leo Bar to Rey's Jay Pride; a daughter of Rey Jay, an AQHA Champion, Superior Halter, Superior Performance horse with 255 cutting points. Rey Jay only had one eye, and he wore protective eye goggles when he cut cows. Jay More Freckles grandsire on her dam's side, was Roar More; a AAA-Stakes Winner and ROM Race horse. Sooty Freckles has been at our house since June of 1991 when we bought Snipper Music and all of his broodmares. She was 4 years old when we got her. She is an absolutely beautiful mare, who has given us so many outstanding foals. At least two of her colts have been kept for stallions. One is in Canada and the other is in Colorado.

SOLD: Marciana Music is a big bay roan mare. She has good conformation, is heavily muscled with good bone and feet. Her sire, is Snipper Music, our favorite horse of all time. A Snaffle Bit Futurity winner, he excelled in reining, cutting and team penning. Not only was he intelligent, he had the best disposition, he was gentle and kind. He loved people and he was a good sire. His offspring inherited all of these good traits and they pass them on to their offpring as well! There are running horses in the pedigree also. Explosive Man ran AA and won 15 halter points. His sire Explosive was a AAA winner. Bar Temis ran AAA and was a Stakes Winner. His sire was Wiggy Bar, who ran AA, was an AQHA Champion, with an ROM in Performance. Horses in the 4th generation include: Revenue; Mandy Tivio 12 Hltr Pts 1.5 Perf.; Snipper Reed AQHA Champion; Artemis AA; San Jacket 6 Hltr pts, Mucho Leo; Moon's Flyer SI 85; and Burkie King, 7 Hltr pts and 39 perf. pts. Most of these horses have halter, performance points, or running records. A good all around pedigree. Rockey has been riding Marciana, she is going well on trails and she is 8 years old. She's a nice big mare, she's a daughter of Snipper Music, and she wouldn't even be for sale, if we weren't cutting back on broodmares. She has had 3 foals and every one of them, end up being Rockey's favorite horse to ride. She's been ridden nearly every day and she just gets better and better. I'm convinced she could do anything. Marcianna stops with her tail in the ground. She could be a reining horse, a rope horse, possibly a barrel horse prospect, or someone's favorite trail horse, ranch & hunting horse.
