Jaz King Of BLues a 2007 blue roan stallion,is a beautiful foundation stud colt. He's a grandson of Jaz Poco Silverado from the Jaz Ranch in Joseph, Oregon. His sire is Concord Music, a grullo, sired by Snipper Music, a Snaffle Bit Futurity winner. Concord Music's Dam is a granddaughter of Mr Bar None, AAAT - Stakes Winner, World Champion Quarter Running horse, Honor Roll Race horse; and Mr Gold 95 a Superior Performance horse with 166 points in Cutting and 2 points in Reining.
My husband and I have been raising and critiquing our herd of broodmares for 30 years. We are sure proud of them. Sequins Blue Ribbon has a combination of Snipper Music (our favorite horse of all time) Sierra G Son, he was not only beautiful, powerful and athletic, but he put size, muscle, and good bone and big feet on his colts, which we crossed with Snipper Music, who could rein, cut, team pen, and be a ranch horse with the best of them. Added to this mix was AQHA Champions Snipper Reed and Sierra Mount. We were lucky enough to get a couple fantastic mares, both granddaughters of Hollywood Gold, handed to us right at the start. Skipette Holly (the Dam of Sierra Gold Sequin) was the foundation mare of our broodmare band, is still with us at 31 years old. We cherish this mare. She had 22 foals for us and is the best producing mare we ever had.
