Sold, Congratulations to Brandon and Crista Morris on the purchase of Concord Charm a 2005 red dun roan filly that is just exquisite. She's a well started 2 yr old. Rockey is very happy with her athletic abilities, and thinks that she'd do really well, as a show horse. She is very responsive to leg pressure, and reins with a light touch.
She has the typical Concord Music, fantastic head, cute little ears and nice muscled hip. She's as roan as she can be and as pretty as a picture. Her dam is a grullo roan and really pretty, also. Charm is quick, fast, and athletic. Concord's sire, Snipper Music was a Snaffle Bit Futurity winner. Reining, Cutting and Team Penning was his speciality. Concord's dam is a granddaughter of Mr Bar None, a World Champion, Superior running horse; and Mr Gold Bar a Superior Cutting horse, with 166 points in cutting, 2 points in reining, and he's a son of Hollywood Gold.
On the Dam's side of the pedigree: Mr Chant Bob AAA - AQHA Champion, with 4 generations of AAA runners behind him, all the way back to War Chant. She also has two crosses to Peppy P212 and Hollywood Gold. Charm's Dam is a grandaughter of Red Berry Rock, by Rocky San by Peppy San, an AQHA Champion, with 180 points in Cutting.
A person couldn't go wrong with a nice filly like Concord Charm. Rockey likes a horse to cover the country when he's riding them, and Charm can walk faster than any horse I've ever seen. She'd make a super Trail horse. He's ridden her on the river bottom all summer, and up Calf Creek, which has some Mountains, trails and open ground.
