ySold: 6/24/2011 Crysti Gray Gun Smoken Blackhawk is a gentle Black gelding. Rockey has started him and he's been on the trail,& the river bottom. He is doing well under saddle. He has a blood brother that was Reserve Champion Yearling, at the 4-H Fair in Liberty Lake, WA 2008, and another brother that was the high seller for Jo Anne Carrol in her 2008 Production Sale. He was sold as a broke 2 year old stallion, that was already doing a great job at roping.
Celebrity Concerto is his sire. He is big, pretty headed, and includes Snipper Music, Sierra G Son, and Skipette Holly in the pedigree.
Dam: NU Twist N Smoke a pretty headed grullo mare, was sired by Nu Bars Bueno, with an ROM Performance. NU Bars Bueno went to the AQHA World Championship Show, placed 6th in Jr. Heeling, 7th in Jr. Calf Roping. He had 12 wins in Halter, and He won an AQHA All Around Champion.
His sire was NU Bar Twist, He won an Honor Roll Working Cowhorse and was a Champion CFI Bridle Horse.
NU Bar was a cutting horse with 33 AQHA pts. He went to the NCHA World Championships and split 6th/7th in 1974 NCHA Derby and 1976 placed 7th in NCHA World Champion Cutting.
NU Twist N Smoke's grand sire: Doc Bar Gem has a Cutting ROM, and he is full brothers to such greats as: Cal Bar, NU Bar, Boon Bar, Fizza Bar, and Docs Remedy. Doc Bar Gem sired 1985 NCHA Futurity Champion, The Gemnist, and many other winners.
Gun Smoken BlackHawk could be a dependable, gentle trail horse. With his legs the way they are, it's doubtful that he could do any performance classes.
