RBL Strawbarry Pine is a beautiful Chestnut mare.
There are many AQHA Champions right up close in the pedigree. We were very tickled to get her Dam, Alice Pine bought at the Hermiston Horse Sale.
Strawbarry Pine's Dam: Alice Pine was sired by Barry Pine, by Poco Pine, by Poco Bueno, all of them are AQHA Champions. Poco Bueno is by King P234.
Barry Pine's Dam is Codalena, she is a Leading Producer of AQHA Champions. 6 of her offspring were AQHA Champions, including 3 Superior Performance, 1 Superior Halter, and 9 show ROM's.
Codalena's sire is Bill Cody. He is an Honor Roll Halter Champion, A Superior Halter Horse and a Leading Sire of AQHA Champions. His sire is Wimpy P-1, chosen to be the very first AQHA registered Quarter horse. He was given that honor by becoming the Grand Champion Stallion at the Fort Worth Stock Show. WOW!! Foundation breeding all of the way, back to the beginning of the AQHA Registry!
Alice Pine's Dam; is Jubals Machine by Jubal Troupe by Two Eyed Jack, an AQHA Champion with both a Superior Halter with 217 points, and a Superior Performance with 65.5 points. Two Eyed Jack is the Leading sire of AQHA Champions with 119 of his offspring winning that prestigous award. His sire, Two D Two is also an AQHA Champion.
Jubals Machine is out of Custom Machine, by Lucky Roan King, an AQHA Champion, by Beaver Creek, by King P234.
Strawbarry Pine's sire is Snips Silver Legacy. He is a big beautiful horse; grullo roan, all black feet, really fancy little head, with the smoothest gaits. His sire was Snipper Music, our most favorite horse of all time. Snipper Music won Snaffle Bit Futurity's, cuttings, reinings, and lots of team pennings. He was the kindest, best dispositioned stallion and he produced foals with his many wonderful qualities. My husband, Rockey says that Snipper Music was the most athletic horse he ever rode. He was cowy, too. Rockey said if you hooked Snipper on a cow, you had better hang on, because Snipper was going to get the cow!
Snips Silver Legacy's Dam was a gorgeous black mare, Cinder Gold Bar, a granddaughter of Mr Bar None and Mr Gold 95. Mr Bar None was a World Champion running Horse, a Superior Race Horse; and Mr Gold 95 was a Superior Performance Horse, winning 166 AQHA pts in cutting and 2 pts in reining. He was a son of Hollywood Gold.
I am very excited about the wonderful foals this mare should produce. She had her first foal in 2009, sired by NU Hollywood King. She had a grullo stud colt!! No doubt, he'll be a looker someday.
