Concord ZANZIBAR a 2009 grullo stallion with the double black EE gene! He has Concord Music's head and ears, with darker hair on the bridge of his nose. His Dam, Snips Sioux Zanna is one of the nicest looking mares on the place. This colt should be gorgeous when he grows up.
He'll be an athlete too, you can count on that.
His grandsire, Snipper Music was the Kaniksu Reined cowhorse Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion. Snipper could rein and cutt with the best of them! Claudia Oglivie trained and showed Snipper Music, before we owned him. She told me that Snipper Music won every reining class that he was entered in. She rode him in a lot of Open Reinings. After Rockey bought him, he rode him for 3 years in the B.R.Team Penning Assoc. He had a lot of fun and brought home a pay check every week-end. They won the end of the year, B.R.Team Penning Championship in 1993.
Snips Sioux Zanna brings performance champions into the pedigree also. Zan Parr Arrow was a Superior Performance winner, and his sire was Zan Parr Bar a World Champion stallion 3 times at halter, and a World Champion Steer Roping horse.
Mr Bar None was a World Champion Running stallion and MR Gold 95 was a Superior Performance horse in Cutting with 166 AQHA points.
Besides being athletic,& cowy,with an awesome head and conformation, our horses have intelligence and wonderful gentle dispositions. They are easy to train and willing to work. They make great ranch horses, trail riding mounts, and pretty show horses. Concord Music foals have an eligance.
