SOLD: to Monty & Pat 6/23/2011 NU Hollywood Zane is a grullo stallion, born in May of 2010. He has 3 crosses to Hollywood Gold, and is foundation bred.
NU Hollywood King is his sire.
Nu Hollywood King is 96% foundation bred in the NFQHA. He has Hollywood Gold, King P234, Nu Bar and Leo in his pedigree. Nu Hollywood King is a grullo that has a double black gene,(EE). He sires lots of grullos and blacks and has been fantastic for our breeding program.
Dam: Hollywood Fantasia is a grullo, double bred Hollywood Gold. Her sire is Concord Music, he is a beautiful grullo stallion, with an outstanding head and conformation just like the ideal Quarter Horse should be! Concord Music's sire was Snipper Music, a Snaffle Bit Futurity winner. Reining was his specialty and as a ranch horse he could cut cows with the best of them. You had better hang on, because Snipper was going to get the cow! He made a fantastic team penning horse as well. Rockey just loved riding Snipper Music.
Fantasia's Dam, Skipette Holly is the foundation mare of our herd. She is a granddaughter of Hollywood Gold. Skipette Holly was born in 1977 and just died in March 2010. What a grand old mare! Fantasia was her last foal, and we are so thankful to have her.
Concord's Dam was Cinder Gold Bar, a gorgeous black mare, and she was a granddaughter of Mr Gold 95, a Superior Performance horse with 166 points in cutting and 2 points in reining. Hollywood Gold was the sire of Mr Gold 95.
NU Hollywood Zane is a nice grullo stud colt, and with this fantastic bloodline could be a stallion prospect. The fillies that Fantasia has produced have been awesome; Hollywood Anastasia, NU Hollywood Skipette and Hollywood Black Pearl.
We will wait with great anticipation and see how NU Hollywood Zane develops!
