zSOLD to LEE ANN Noffsinger: Broke: Lonesome Blue Sable is a nice looking 2 year old blue roan gelding. His sire is our grullo roan stallion, Snips Silver Legacy who is 15-3. His dam is Sable Nighthorse, a big black mare about 15-3 also. Lonesome will be a Big Horse when he matures!
Sable Nighthorse is sired by Black Weasel, a grand son of King Fritz. Dam and Black Weasel belong to JoAnne Carroll in Salmon, Idaho. I purchased this colt, at two years old, before Rockey went back to work. Rockey has ridden him faithfully, every Sat. and Sun in order to get him Broke.
Lonesome Blue Sable got his feet trimmed and now he is gelded, also. That really made a nice boy out of him!
