SOLD: Sooty Cinderella to Bruce Taylor in Idaho in 2013. Cinderella is a shiny black 2010 filly. Rockey enjoys riding her as she has the athletic ability to move quickly, when he asks her to, and a calm, sweet disposition the rest of the time. She has a beautiful head, just the way we like them. Concord Music is her sire and her conformation shows it. That big hip is eye catching, she is built a lot like her dad. Pretty, Pretty, Pretty!
Snipper Music was our favorite horse of all time, and Sooty Cinderella is a double bred Snipper Music. That makes her terrific, in "Betty World"! Intelligent, athletic, cowy, wonderful disposition, he was a pre-potent sire, he literally out did himself, in the breeding pen. And you can't ask for anything more than that! I wish we could have cloned him! I saw a woman on the news a while back, that was holding a kitten, and the story was, that she had paid $80,000.00 to clone her cat! Spending that much money to clone a cat seems on the edge of ridiculous to me, but apparently not to a cat lover. Don't get me wrong, I love Kittys! If I had had the $80,000.00 and the opportunity to have Snipper Music cloned, I would have done it! So who am I to question the worth of a cat!
Sooty Freckles' Dam, was imported from Australia by Alex and Claudia Oglivie!! She had some great horses in her pedigree, Jewel's Leo Bars, Sugar Bars, Leo Pan, Rey Jay, and Leo. Rey Jay was cutting at the Detroit State Fair in Michigan, the year I run and won the AQHA barrel race on Sortago Leo, there at the fair. I sure wish that I had gone and watched Rey Jay perform in the cutting. Who knew that I'd grow up, move to Montana, marry Rockey Lynn, and someday own a horse with Rey Jay in the pedigree? Rey Jay was an AQHA Champion, Superior Cutting horse, and an NCHA Finals-Non Pro Winner. He only had one eye, and they put goggles on him, when he was cutting. So as, not to take a chance that he could get dust or dirt in the one good eye.
Jewel's Leo Bars had 25 AQHA Cutting points, ROM in Performance and 3 halter points, himself. Jewel's Leo Bars was the sire of the great Colonel Freckles, an NCHA Futurity Champion. And even though Colonel Freckles is not in the pedigree of this nice black filly, all of those other horses that came before him are there, and she's a horse that I'd be proud to own and ride. I'll bet that you would be happy to own her, and ride her too! Come to Montana and feast your eyes upon this beautiful, black shiny filly!
