HQH Cream Puff has the most gorgeous head, really really pretty. She also has a unique color. She is a Palomino Roan!
Her sire is Smoky Music Too,(blue roan) by Snipper Music(grullo roan and out of Bright Allover a black double bred Rebel Cause mare.
Sierra G Son is the sire of Cream Puff's Dam; PJ Honey Buck. That's where the palomino came from.
We bred Cream Puff to Nu Hollywood King, our grullo Foundation stallion with the (EE)black gene. As he won't throw a sorrel, red roan, palomino, chestnut, my big hope is that we are going to get blue roans out of this cross. It has to be a color with a black gene. So Grullo, Dun, black, brown and bay are all possible. Add to that the roan gene that the mare carries, and any of those black gened colors could also be roan. It will be exciting to see what we get.
Whatever we get it, it should be cowy, athletic and gorgeous!
