"Sierras Alibi" is a nice, dappled Palomino quarter
horse stallion. He is gorgeous, with super athletic ability, and he's
extremely intelligent. Rockey said he was a pleasure to break to ride,
just like most of the "Sierra G Son" offspring are. When he had only 5
rides on him, Rockey took him to a cattle round-up in Kilgore, Idaho and
was real impressed with how fast "Sierras Alibi" learned to follow a cow
in open country. Many of the ranchers who have owner a "Sierra G Son"
colt, come back year after year and buy another one. They are pretty enough
for your Sunday horse, and tough enough for your every day horse on the
ranch. "Sierras G Son" offspring are used for all types of events, at
shows and fairs; halter, western pleasure, reining, barrel racing, roping,
showmanship, horsemanship, etc.
Behind every good stallion, you need a good dam. "Docs Perfect Alibi"
was certainly that. She was beautiful, with 10 halter points and a reserve
champion at halter to her credit. Her sire, "Professor's Alibi", had a
show ROM in cutting, plus halter points. He sired superiors and high point
winners in cutting, and top ten finishers at the world championship cutting
in '86 and '88.
